As a family-owned and operated company, Hancock Refrigeration appreciates and encourages long-term relationships. Born and raised in the area, owner Mark Hancock has years of experience battling the quirks of Maryland weather and finding solutions that keep residents comfortable.
Founded in 1970 by Mark's father, Hancock Refrigeration started as an appliance repair company. Over the years, services grew to include first appliance sales, and then HVAC and refrigeration. Mark took over the business when his father retired in 1996. Mark now works on homes that he worked on when he first started in the industry, replacing equipment that he changed out 20-plus years ago. The family tradition continues, with all four of his daughters working in the company over the years.
Personal Attention
Today, we no longer do appliance repair or sales, focusing instead on commercial refrigeration and residential and commercial HVAC. While our services might have changed, the time-honored values underlying Hancock Refrigeration have not: honesty, integrity, and personal attention.
Unlike many larger HVAC companies whose owners are not as engaged, Mark is actively involved with our company and our customers. He enjoys working alongside our comfort consultants and NATE-certified technicians to provide our customers with high-quality service and installations for a fair and reasonable price.
